I am an Associate Professor in the Department of English at Saint Louis University. I teach courses in rhetoric and writing, writing center theory and practice, dark academia, and writing for the gaming industry. I am the co-author of Read, Reason, Write 13e.

I also direct the Writing Across the Curriculum program at Saint Louis University. In this position, I collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to develop writing-intensive courses in the new Core for the wide variety of disciplines offered at Saint Louis University.

My research investigates the intersections of rhetorical theory, writing pedagogy, and digital/public humanities. I write articles and books to share my experiences in teaching, research, and service.

I am a fourth-year doctoral student at Saint Louis University where I am studying Nineteenth Century British Literature & Culture.

My areas of interest include Golden Age Children's Literature; Medical Humanities; Digital Humanities & Archives; Studies of Empire and Colonialism; Intellectual & Philosophical Histories in Literature & Poetry.

I am a senior at Saint Louis University where I also serve as opinion editor for The University News.

I am a lover of history and education. I currently serve as Special Advisor to the President of Loyola University Maryland.

I have a PhD in American history and specialized in digital humanities at George Mason University.
